Went to University in Santa Barbara in Business and Economics at Westmont College, went to the Univ. of Vienna for a Masters in Economics. Stayed in California for 10 years working in consulting, insurance and banking technology, with a year in Hawaii. Moved to Vancouver Canada as a Technology Consultant for KPMG, became a Partner. Moved to Ernst & Young after 10 years, became a Senior Consulting Partner. (FYI, I have done lots of world travelling.) Became the CIO for the Government of Canada moved to Ottawa. Moved back to Vancouver (left my wife {long storey}. She did not want to move) then moved to Toronto, Ontario. I'm verry happy here in Toronto with my partner Diane. When Debbie got home from work, I told her I had sent her brothers a note about Paul's passing, as I thought one of them may have known him....she said "oh, Paul came to our house for dinner a few times while at Westmont"....very small world!

I remember Paul well and now know why he didn't make the last few reunions or birthday bash! I remember running many laps with him during track training....
Ironically, my father-in-law was head of the Economics department at Westmont College at the same time Paul attended, so I know they are sharing stories right now. One of the points about Paul in his obit is that he was "kind and honest". For those who don't know, Westmont is a Christian college, where ethics and morals are not only important, but still taught.
Deb and I are attending the Westmont Christmas concert tomorrow evening (12/6/14), so I will let them know of his passing if they don't already.
Blessings to his wife and family.
